The EuropaBON Consortium is very excited to invite you to their upcoming virtual workshop on Essential Biodiversity Variable workflows.
Part of the organizers' task in EuropaBON is to codesign the various steps needed to develop and generate EBVs for the terrestrial, freshwater and marine realm.
The aim of this workshop is to bring together experts on biodiversity monitoring, data collection, data integration and modelling, covering knowledge on in-situ observations (structured monitoring programs, citizen science observations and novel technologies) and remote sensing (satellite, airborne and weather radar). We want to discuss the currently existing, newly emerging and potential future workflows for generating EBVs and how they can be implemented at the European scale.
This workshop is open and free to all. It will take place over three virtual two hour sessions on 22-24 February 2023.
