Dr. James Thornton will represent GEO Mountains and the MRI at the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting 2024, which will take place in Washington D.C., USA, from 9–13 December 2024.
James will present a poster on The Unified High Elevation Observation Platform (UHOP), a joint initiative of the MRI’s Elevation Dependent Climate Change (EDCC) Working Group and GEO Mountains. The abstract is available here.
Immediately prior to the AGU, James will also represent the MRI at the first annual meeting of the Andean Climate Change: Observations, Research & Discovery (ACCORD) project, which is funded by the US National Science Foundation AccelNet scheme, and in which the MRI is a partner.
